Marine Biology
Marine Biology is the study of life in the world's oceans and other salty waters. It is an interdisciplinary field drawing on the sciences of chemistry, biology, physics, geology, and other related fields. Marine Biology is a critically important area of study as marine ecosystems provide numerous benefits to humans including food, recreation, and livelihoods. Research into Marine Biology has allowed us to better understand the ecology of our oceans and how to manage them for sustainable use and protection.
