Vasculitis Diagnosis
Vasculitis is a medical condition that refers to inflammation of the blood vessels. It is caused by an abnormal immune system response that damages the vessel walls leading to swelling and pain. Symptoms of vasculitis include fatigue, fever, rash, joint pain, and numbness. Diagnosis of this condition includes medical history, physical examination, blood tests, and imaging tests. Treatment usually consists of medications to control inflammation and to modify the immune system response. Vasculitis is a serious condition, but with early diagnosis and proper treatment, a satisfactory outcome can be achieved.
