Vasculitides

Vasculitides is a group of inflammatory disorders which are characterized by the inflammation of blood vessels. This group of disorders can range from mild to severe, and involve the small and large blood vessels of the body. The inflammation can lead to narrowing, weakening, or blockage of the vessel, and can result in reduced blood flow and organ damage. Vasculitides can be caused by autoimmune diseases, infections, or exposure to certain drugs or toxins.
