Golfers Vasculitis
Golfer's Vasculitis is a rare skin condition, characterized by inflammation and damage to the vessels of the skin. This can result in red patches and bumps on the skin and is typically seen on the feet, ankles and lower legs of golfers who wear golf shoes. It can also appear on other areas of the body that are subject to friction when golfing, such as elbows and wrists. Treatment includes avoiding tight footwear, wearing protective socks or padding, as well as topical and systemic corticosteroids. Early diagnosis and treatment of Golfer's Vasculitis can help reduce the discomfort and discomfort associated with the condition, allowing golfers to continue participating in the sport they enjoy.
