Urology

Urology is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Urologists are experts in all aspects of the urinary system, including its anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Urologists specialize in diagnosing and treating urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder and prostate problems, urinary incontinence, male infertility, male sexual dysfunction, and other urological problems. They provide preventative care and management of the entire urinary system, including lifestyle changes, nutrition and dietary advice, and lifestyle modifications. They are also important in the early diagnosis of urological cancers, such as prostate and bladder cancer. Urologists play a critical role in providing quality, compassionate patient care and improving patient outcomes.
