Translational Pathology
Translational Pathology is the application of advances in biotechnology and molecular biology to better understand human diseases at the molecular level. This approach has been used to identify new diagnostic markers, novel treatments, and novel therapeutics. It also has enabled personalized medicine, allowing the development of strategies and interventions that are tailored to individuals based on their specific genetic and molecular profiles. Translational Pathology has a critical role in improving the accuracy of clinical decision making, optimizing treatment outcomes and improving patient care.
