Translational Medicine
Translational medicine is an interdisciplinary field of research that applies knowledge of biological languages and pathways to improve human health and treat diseases. Its goal is to bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical practice. It involves identifying the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying disease and developing therapies and treatments that target these mechanisms. Translational medicine has become an important tool in the fight against cancer, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, rare diseases, and other chronic and infectious diseases. By providing a comprehensive and integrated approach to disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, translational medicine has the potential to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
