Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focused on improving physical function and overall quality of life. It uses evidence-based, hands-on techniques such as massage, exercises, and electrotherapy to reduce pain, improve mobility and promote healthy tissue healing. Physiotherapists often help to rehabilitate people after injuries or surgeries, and manage chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma and multiple sclerosis. Physiotherapists also work to improve balance, muscle strength, coordination, posture and breathing, to enhance life quality. Physiotherapy is an important part of treatment for many conditions and can be used as an alternative or complementary therapy to medical intervention.
