Tracheal and Bronchial Stenosis

Tracheal and bronchial stenosis is a condition in which the bronchial tubes or trachea become narrowed, reducing or blocking air flow to the lungs. This narrowing can cause difficulty breathing, chest pain, and even complications with other body organs and systems. In severe cases, it can be life-threatening. Treatment of tracheal and bronchial stenosis may include medication, lifestyle changes, or in some cases, surgery that may involve the use of metal stents or other devices to widen the narrowed passages and improve airflow. Improper diagnosis and treatment of this condition can lead to serious health complications and even death and, therefore, it is important to seek medical attention if you experience any respiratory difficulties.
