Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that affects the protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs, also known as the mesothelium. It is most commonly caused by exposure to asbestos and is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Symptoms may include chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, and fluid build-up in the chest or abdomen. Treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential for managing mesothelioma and improving outcomes.
