Cell Death
Cell death is a biological process in which a cell stops functioning and is permanently removed from its organism. It is a natural and essential part of the development and life cycle of living organisms, playing a key role in the maintenance of healthy tissues and organs. It can be divided into two types: programmed cell death (PCD), which is a regulated and controlled process, and necrosis, which is an unregulated cell death caused by physical or chemical trauma. Cell death is an important part of many physiological processes such as embryonic development, wound healing, immune defense and tissue regeneration. It also plays a critical role in the prevention and treatment of diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
