Urology

Urology is a branch of medicine which focuses on problems related to the urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. Urologists diagnose, treat, and manage diseases or conditions affecting the urinary tract in both sexes, as well as the male reproductive organs. These may include urinary tract infection, prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, kidney stones, abdominal pain, bladder cancer, and erectile dysfunction. Urologists also use minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery in order to diagnose and treat various problems. Urology plays an important role in overall health and well-being, providing dynamic and advanced treatments that can improve quality of life.
