Orthopaedic Surgery
Orthopedic surgery is the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system including bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Orthopedic surgeons specialize in providing surgical and non-surgical treatments to help people regain full function and improve quality of life. Common orthopedic surgeries include hip and knee replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, spinal fusion and discectomy, and fracture repairs. These surgical procedures allow patients to reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve overall quality of life.
