Laparotomy
Laparotomy is a surgical procedure involving an incision in the abdominal cavity. It is used to diagnose or treat a range of conditions, such as ovarian cysts, appendicitis, and endometriosis. Laparotomy is an essential surgical technique for diagnosing and treating many abdominal disorders, and can help improve the patient's quality of life through improved diagnosis and treatment options. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive alternative to laparotomy, but in some cases laparotomy is the best and only option for getting the most accurate diagnosis and the best outcome for the patient.
