Hormone Epinephrine

Epinephrine, also known as adrenaline, is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. It plays a key role in the body's fight or flight response, increasing heart rate and breathing rate, providing extra energy, and causing blood vessels to dilate. It is used to treat a variety of medical conditions, such as heart failure, asthma, anaphylaxis, and shock. By helping to restore blood pressure and improve the flow of oxygen, epinephrine can help save lives.
