Epidural Steroids

Epidural steroids are injections of corticosteroid medications which are used to reduce inflammation in the body. These injections can provide relief from pain and swelling in the nerves of the spinal cord, which can cause numbness and muscle weakness in the spine, neck, and lower body. Common uses of epidural steroids include reducing sciatica and back pain, treating spinal nerve issues, and providing long-term pain relief for chronic pain conditions. Epidural steroids can be highly effective treatments for reducing inflammation and providing long-term pain relief for people with chronic pain conditions.
