Unsafe Sex
Unsafe sex is sexual activity without the use of condoms, other barrier methods, or other protective measures. It is a major risk factor for the transmission of HIV, other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and unintended pregnancies. Unsafe sex is associated with a variety of negative outcomes and is a major public health concern. To reduce the risk of these outcomes, it is important to never engage in unprotected sexual activity and to always use appropriate preventive measures such as condoms and other barrier methods.
