Stds and Public Health
STDs, or Sexually Transmitted Diseases, are a major public health concern. They are spread through sexual contact and can have serious implications on health. STDs can cause infertility, serious illnesses such as HIV/AIDS and even death. It is important to practice safe sex, including using protection, to reduce the risk of contracting an STD. Regular testing and treatment for STDs is also essential for improving public health and stopping the spread of infection.
