Stds and Infertility

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) can cause infertility in both men and women by damaging the reproductive organs and tissues. STDs can also disrupt hormonal balance, which can lead to problems with reproduction. STDs are a major public health concern with over 20 million new infections each year in the United States alone. It is essential to practice safe sex and get tested for STDs in order to protect oneself from infertility and other complications. Early detection and treatment of STDs can improve fertility and reduce the risk of infertility.
