Pubic Lice

Pubic lice, also known as crab lice, are small parasitic insects that infest the pubic hair of humans. They are usually spread through close contact with another person though sexual intercourse and can cause intense itching. Pubic lice can also be spread through contaminated items such as bedding, towels and clothing. Treatment for pubic lice is available as creams and lotions that are applied to the infested area, though additional treatments may be required if the lice continues to return. It is important to be aware of the risk of pubic lice in order to prevent infection and the spread of the parasite.
