Oestrogen

Oestrogen is a hormone that is present in both men and women, but is primarily responsible for the development and regulation of the female reproductive system. Oestrogen is essential for the normal development and function of the female reproductive organs and also important for maintaining healthy bones and skin. In men, oestrogen is important for sperm production, while in women it plays a role in the menstrual cycle and ovulation. Oestrogen also plays a role in regulating mood and libido, as well as helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. By maintaining balance of oestrogen in the body, it can help in managing several health problems, and has been linked to improved mental and physical wellbeing.
