Hpv-31

Human papillomavirus (HPV) 31 is a common strain of the human papillomavirus. It is one of the more than 150 types of HPV that are known to cause various illnesses, including genital warts, cervical cancer, and other respiratory and skin diseases. HPV 31 is especially associated with a type of genital cancer known as squamous cell carcinoma. HPV 31 infections can be prevented through the use of vaccines, such as Gardasil 9 and Cervarix, which provide protection against this strain of HPV and reduce the risk of HPV-related health problems. The development of vaccines has had a significant impact on reducing the prevalence and consequences of HPV-related diseases, significantly increasing the health and overall wellbeing of those most at risk.
