Hpv-2

Human papillomavirus type 2 (HPV-2) is a virus that primarily infects the genital area and can cause genital warts. It is one of over 100 types of HPV and is believed to be the cause of cancers of the cervix, vulva, vagina, anus, and penis. HPV-2 can be spread through skin-to-skin contact with an infected person, through sexual contact, or even through contact with contaminated surfaces. Vaccines against the virus are available and can help reduce the risk of HPV-2 infections. Vaccination is especially important for young adults and adolescents, as the virus can cause serious illnesses if left untreated. Vaccination can also help reduce the risk of cancer related to HPV-2.
