Hepatitis b

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that is caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It affects the liver and can cause lifelong infection, cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer, liver failure, and even death. It is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, making it a major global health concern. Vaccination is the best way to prevent hepatitis B, and those infected should seek medical treatment. Early diagnosis and treatment can improve the prognosis and prevent further spread of the virus.
