Socialism

Socialism is a socio-economic system based on the collective ownership of the means of production and an egalitarian distribution of resources. The aim of socialism is to create a society in which people are not limited by their socio-economic status, and instead everyone has equal access to the necessary resources to pursue their dreams, live a fulfilling life and contribute to the overall wellbeing of society. It emphasizes that economic power should not be concentrated in the hands of a few individuals; rather, it should be shared among everyone for the benefit of the whole community. Socialism has had a long history, with various expressions throughout the world. Today, socialism is seen as one of the most viable and equitable economic models for achieving a more equitable and sustainable distribution of resources and opportunities.
