Urologists are medical doctors who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. They provide care for patients of all ages, from infancy to adulthood. Urologists treat a wide range of conditions, from urinary problems such as incontinence and infections to sexual dysfunction and infertility. They are highly experienced in performing surgical procedures of the urinary tract and reproductive organs and often work in coordination with other medical specialists, such as oncologists or gynecologists, to provide comprehensive patient care. Urologists are essential in treating and preventing urologic diseases, providing expert care to improve patients’ quality of life.
