Percent-free Psa

Percent-free prostate specific antigen (PSA) is a laboratory test used to measure specific proteins in the blood related to prostate health. It is a useful tool for monitoring the state of the prostate and can detect early signs of prostate cancer. Percent-free PSA can also provide information about the disease status or prognosis for those with prostate cancer. By measuring the ratio of percent-free PSA to total PSA, medical professionals can gain more clue to the specific diagnosis and the associated risks. It is an important part of a comprehensive prostate cancer screening program.
