Genitourinary Tract Tumors
Genitourinary tract tumors are abnormal growths in the organs of the urinary and/or genital system, including the kidneys, bladder, prostate, testes, uterus, and other areas. These tumors can be benign, meaning that they are non-cancerous, or malignant, meaning that they are cancerous. Depending on the type of tumor present, they can cause a variety of symptoms, such as difficulty urinating, blood in the urine, pain, and swelling. Treatment for genitourinary tract tumors typically involves surgery and/or chemotherapy. Early detection and treatment are essential in order to reduce the risk of complications and improve outcomes.
