Docetaxel
Docetaxel is a chemotherapy drug used to treat various types of cancer, including metastatic breast cancer, advanced stomach cancer and advanced non-small cell lung cancer. It works by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and preventing them from spreading. Docetaxel can be used alone or in combination with other chemotherapeutic drugs, or with hormone therapies or targeted therapies for a more effective cancer treatment. It is known to have few side effects, making it a safer option for those who are unable to tolerate other forms of treatment. Furthermore, it has been shown to be successful in prolonging patient survival and improving the quality of life.
