Conformal Radiotherapy

Conformal radiotherapy (CRT) is a form of radiation therapy that is used to treat various types of cancer. This technique involves a combination of multiple radiation fields or beams to target the tumor more precisely. Unlike traditional radiotherapy, CRT allows the radiation to conform to the shape of the tumor while minimizing radiation exposure to surrounding tissue and organs. The result is a more effective tumor treatment with fewer side effects. CRT is increasingly used in the treatment of prostate, breast, brain, pancreas and other types of cancer, as well as in the treatment of metastatic disease.
