Abiraterone Acetate

Abiraterone acetate is a synthetic medication used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. It works by blocking the production of the male hormone testosterone, which stimulates the growth of tumor cells. Abiraterone acetate can slow down the progression of prostate cancer and extend the lifespan of patients with advanced disease.
