Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists are healthcare professionals who work with individuals to help them overcome physical, mental and social challenges in their everyday lives. They use a variety of methods, including assessment, therapy and activities, to assist patients in developing the skills needed to function in everyday life. These activities range from practical skills like dressing and grocery shopping, to social skills like communication and interacting with others. The goal of occupational therapy is to help individuals lead more independent, fulfilling lives.
