Complementary Medicine
Complementary medicine is a group of healthcare practices, approaches and therapies that are not generally considered to be a part of conventional medicine. It is growing in popularity and is used to complement conventional therapies and diagnose, prevent, and treat illnesses and promote improved physical and mental well-being. Complementary medicine includes a wide range of approaches from herbalism, aromatherapy and acupuncture, to reflexology, meditation, and homeopathic remedies. It can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions such as stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and digestive disorders. It is also used by some to support their quest for greater overall health and well-being.
