Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine originating from China over 3,000 years ago, which involves inserting thin needles into the body to stimulate certain points on the body to improve overall health and well being. Acupuncture is thought to work by affecting the body’s nervous, circulatory, and hormonal systems. It is used for a wide variety of conditions, including pain relief, mental health issues, reproductive issues, and a variety of other health problems. Research has found that acupuncture can be effective in helping to relieve pain and improve overall quality of life. It can also be used as an adjunct therapy, in combination with other forms of medicine, to help with a variety of health issues, including chronic pain.
