Occupational Risk Assessment
Occupational risk assessment is a structured process to identify and assess risks related to working environments. It examines the workplace, job tasks and activities, equipment, work activities and other factors to determine if the environment is safe and any potential risks that could cause harm to the worker. The goal of this assessment is to identify potential hazards and control them to reduce the likelihood of an accident or injury. Occupational risk assessment is an important practice for occupational health and safety professionals and employers to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for workers, and to minimise the risk of injury or loss of life.
