Biography
Jie Yin is a researcher at Capital Medical University, China, whose work focuses on nutrition and metabolism, microbiome, redox biology, and pig science. His investigations have examined the nutritional regulation of amino acids and peptides, with emphasis on how nutrients including arginine, glutamate, cysteine, and methionine affect growth performance, immune function, oxidative balance, and nutritional absorption. His research also addresses oxidative stress during critical periods such as birth and weaning, antioxidant signaling pathways, the interplay between oxidative stress and inflammation, and the role of amino acids as antioxidant agents. With over 34 indexed publications, his most-cited work, "Probiotic Species in the Modulation of Gut Microbiota: An Overview" (2018), has received 604 citations, reflecting his contributions to understanding gut microbiota modulation.
