Systems Neuroscience
Systems neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field of research focused on understanding the function of neuronal systems throughout the brain and body. Its main aim is to understand how large networks of neurons interact with each other to generate behavior, emotion, and thought. Systems neuroscience can provide us with insights into the causes of neurological and psychiatric diseases, as well as laying the groundwork for the development of new therapies and treatments. It can also help us understand how we learn and remember, how we move and sense, and how we perceive and interpret the world around us. Systems neuroscience is essential to advancing our understanding of the brain and improving our lives.
