Neuromodulation
Neuromodulation is a rapidly growing field in the field of medicine. It is the use of electrical, chemical, or other forms of energy to alter the activity of neurons in the nervous system. It has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, epilepsy, depression, and anxiety. It has also been used in physical rehabilitation, motor control, and motor learning. Neuromodulation can improve the quality of life for patients and offers therapeutic alternatives to more invasive treatments and surgeries. It is an exciting field of research and offers hope to many individuals with neurological conditions.
