Myelin Imaging
Myelin imaging is a recent advancement in the field of neuroscience, which uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to observe the production of myelin. Myelin is an important protective coating around the axons of our nerve cells, which aids in the generation and efficient transmission of nerve signals. Myelin imaging has the potential to provide crucial insight into the development and progression of neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis and dementia. Additionally, it can be used to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of therapeutic interventions for these conditions.
