Cognitive Neuroscience
Cognitive neuroscience is a field of research that studies how biology and physiology of the brain influences cognition and behaviour. It examines how networks of neurons communicate with each other and process information to generate thoughts, feelings, memories, and actions. This research allows us to understand how the brain works and to develop treatments for neurological diseases and disorders. It has helped to identify biological markers that can be used to diagnose and monitor mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. Additionally, cognitive neuroscience is being used to improve human-computer interaction and the development of artificial intelligence. Ultimately, cognitive neuroscience research helps us to understand the workings of the human brain and improve our quality of life.
