Brain-Computer-Interfaces
Brain-Computer-Interfaces (BCIs) are communication systems that enable direct communication and control between a user’s brain and a computer. The technology utilizes signals from the brain’s electrical activity to allow the user to interact with their environment in a new way, without having to use physical devices like a mouse or keyboard. BCIs have a wide range of potential applications and are being used to help people with physical and neurological impairments regain movement, improve communication and restore cognitive abilities.BCIs offer many benefits, such as restoring physical and mental abilities, reducing fatigue and increasing accuracy of tasks. BCIs are also being researched for use in gaming, entertainment, education and virtual reality applications. They can improve accessibility for people with physical and neurological impairments, allowing them to more easily control their environment. Further research into BCIs has the potential to revolutionize how we use computers and interact with our environment.
