Xenon CT
Xenon CT (Computed Tomography) is a type of imaging technology used in medical diagnosis. It uses the ability of the element xenon to emit x-rays when injected into the body, to generate detailed 3D images of internal organs and structures. This imaging is extremely useful in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions, including cancer and vascular diseases. The detailed images produced by Xenon CT can also provide physicians with information about the anatomy, physiology and pathology of organs. It is a noninvasive technique that can be used in both adults and children, with minimal radiation exposure from x-rays. This helps to reduce the risk of radiation-induced cancer. Xenon CT is an important tool in medical imaging, helping doctors to make accurate diagnoses, plan treatment and follow-up care.
