Radiographers

Radiographers are medical professionals who use imaging technology such as X-rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose and treat illness and injury. They are responsible for obtaining images of patients’ internal organs and tissues to help diagnose and assess medical problems. Their work is key for physicians to understand what is happening inside the body, develop a treatment plan and monitor progress. Radiographers are trained to ensure that patients are safe during their examinations as well as to explain imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
