Brain Aneurysm
A brain aneurysm is an abnormal bulge or ballooning in the wall of an artery in the brain. It can cause severe, life-threatening headaches and, if left untreated, can lead to stroke or death. Early detection and treatment can increase the chances of survival and lower the risk of further brain damage. Brain aneurysm surgery is a highly specialized procedure which involves repairing or replacing the damaged artery, and can give patients a better quality of life.
