Neuroblastoma

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that starts in nerve cells located in various areas of the body, mainly in the adrenal glands, chest, neck, or spinal cord. It can spread to other parts of the body, such as the bones, lymph nodes, and liver. The causes of neuroblastoma remain unknown, but it is most commonly found in children and is rarely seen in adults. Treatment options vary and may include targeted therapy, surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immune therapy, and stem cell transplants. It is important to diagnose neuroblastoma as early as possible in order to improve the chances of successful treatment and improve the outlook of the patient.
