Hydrocele
A hydrocele is a swelling caused by a collection of fluid in the scrotum of a male. It is most common in newborns, but does occur in adults as well. Hydroceles can be caused by various factors including injury, infection, or cancer. Treatment for hydroceles consists of antibiotics, draining the fluid with a needle, or, if necessary, surgery. Hydroceles are typically harmless, but can cause discomfort and should be monitored and treated by a medical professional.
