Eclampsia
Eclampsia is a serious complication of pregnancy, characterized by seizures caused by high blood pressure. It can have serious effects on the mother and child, such as severe damage to the mother's organs or growth restriction of the baby. Eclampsia is a relatively rare complication of pregnancy and may require medical attention to properly direct treatment. The most effective way to reduce the risk of eclampsia is to monitor and manage the mother’s blood pressure during pregnancy. Early detection and proper management of high blood pressure can help to prevent eclampsia, and with the right treatment, both mother and baby can be safe and healthy.
