T-cell Therapies

T-cell therapies are a form of cancer treatment that involves using modified versions of a patient's own immune system cells to target and eliminate the cancer cells. They are considered to be one of the most promising treatments for many types of cancer that are not responding to traditional therapies. T-cell therapies are currently used to treat lymphomas, leukemias, and some types of sarcomas. Additionally, researchers are exploring their potential for use in treating other types of cancer, as well as other potentially life-threatening diseases. These therapies are successful because they are able to specifically target cancer cells, while leaving healthy cells unharmed. The potential for T-cell therapies to revolutionize cancer treatments is ongoing, as scientists continue to refine and perfect these treatments.
