Siponimod
Siponimod is a type of medication used as a treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). It is a selective sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator that helps in reducing inflammation associated with MS. Siponimod helps to slow the neurological and physical deterioration caused by the disease, improving the quality of life of patients and helping them to maintain their daily activities. It is recommended to be taken orally once daily, usually for at least two years. Common side effects of Siponimod include headache, high blood pressure, and diarrhea.
