Neurorehabilitation

Neurorehabilitation is a field of science and medicine that focuses on treating and rehabilitating neurological injuries and diseases. It aims to improve the function and quality of life of individuals by helping them regain lost motor, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities. This is typically achieved through physical exercises and activities, psychological interventions, occupational therapy, and the use of assistive technology. Neurorehabilitation can be beneficial for patients with conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and acquired brain injury. It can help improve physical functioning, reduce pain and fatigue, facilitate an individual's return to work or school, and improve overall quality of life.
